TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho defeated Treasure Valley 85-80 Tuesday in its last non-conference game before Scenic West Athletic Conference play begins next week.
The Golden Eagles led by as much as 20 points seven minutes into the second half and then coasted to the win.
Asim Jones led CSI with 18 points and three assists.
Jaylon Johnson added 16 points, five steals, four rebounds and three assists.
Shahid Muhammad had a big game defensively, getting six blocks and nine rebounds to lead the Golden Eagles. He also had 15 points.Â
Also scoring in double figures was
Walker Timme with 14 points. He added four rebounds and three steals. The second-leading rebounder for the Golden Eagles was
Jordan Hamilton with six.
