TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 16th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team beat Casper College 25-13, 25-15, 25-27, 25-20 Thursday to open the Starr Corporation Invitational.
Four players finished the match with double-digit kills led by
Val Sarti-Cipriani's 14. She added six digs and five blocks.
Both
Annie Nikolnikova and
Alizaysha Sopi each had 13 kills and
Danea King had 10. Nikolnikova and King each had four blocks and Sopi finished with nine digs.Â
Janke Pretorius posted a double-double with 49 assists and 16 digs.
Chinaru Inoue led the defense with 18 digs. Playing back row for the Golden Eagles,
Dorina Bogar finished with four service aces and seven digs.
CSI, 8-5 overall, takes on Central Wyoming Friday at 7:30 p.m.
