Golden Eagle Volleyball wins two on final day

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho made it a sweep on Saturday, beating Lee College 25-15, 25-19 25-14 and #10 Western Nebraska 25-10, 20-25, 25-23, 25-17 at the Salt Lake Crystal INNvitational.
Led by Alizaysha Sopi and Danea King, CSI dominated Lee. Sopi finished with 12 kills and nine digs and King had eight kills and three blocks. Janke Pretorius finished with a team high 35 assists and three serve aces. She also had eight digs. Defensively, Chinaru Inoue had 13 digs.
Against Western Nebraska the Golden Eagles dominated the first set before the Cougars settled in and both teams battled the rest of the way.
Annie Nikolnikova posted 10 kills and 10 blocks and Jojo Robinson had 11 kills and five blocks. King added eight kills and four blocks. Pretorius finished with a double-double, getting 30 assists and 11 digs along with four blocks and three kills. Inoue had another strong match with 21 digs.
CSI returns home to host the Starr Corporation Invitational Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
