RANGELY, Colo. - The College of Southern Idaho Softball Team finished up the regular season with 18-1 and 11-1 wins over Colorado Northwestern Saturday.
The Golden Eagles will take the two seed into the Region 18 Tournament a week from Monday at Salt Lake CC.
In game one
Brooke Merrill pitched a one hitter with seven strikeouts.
At the plate, the Golden Eagles hit four home runs.
Gracie Tentinger was 2-for-4 with a home run,
Rachael Brown was 2-for-4 with a home run,
Indee Jones was 1-for-2 with a home run and
Tessa Hokanson was 3-for-3 with a home run.
Saige Nielsen finished the game 4-for-4 and
Taya Manzanares and
Brylee Bigelow were 3-for-4.
Markessa Jensen won game two in the circle, giving up one run on four hits with four strikeouts.
Bigelow was 3-for-3 with two RBI,
Makenzie Evans was 1-for-3 with a home run, Jones was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI and Jensen was 3-for-3.
CSI finishes the regular season 42-16.
