SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Softball Team lost to 12th-ranked Salt Lake CC 8-7 twice on Saturday, the first on in extra innings.
The Golden Eagles began the day up 6-5 in the bottom of the second from a game that began on Friday and was halted due to rain.
Both teams battled to a 7-7 tie through the seventh before Salt Lake won on a walk-off in the bottom of the eighth.
Brylee Bigelow was 2-for-3 with an RBI,
Markessa Jensen was 2-for-4 with an RBI and
Gracie Tentinger was 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI.

Abby Hayes was solid all day, giving up only two earned runs on six hits with two strikeouts.
The Golden Eagles finished game two with the same number of hits as Salt Lake but one run less.
Tentinger was 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI,
Saige Nielsen was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI,
Taya Manzanares was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI and
Reagan Rex was 1-for-2 with a double. Jensen earned the loss, going 5.1 innings and giving up six earned runs on seven hits.
CSI returns home to host Treasure Valley Tuesday at noon and then USU Eastern Friday and Saturday.
