SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team took care of business Saturday, beating Salt Lake CC 5-1 and 6-5 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.

Josh Trentadue shut down the Bruins in game one.
The sophomore gave up just one earned run on nine hits with 10 strikeouts in the win.
At the plate,
Brody Duvall was 2-for-3, Chris Carter was 2-for-3 with a home run and one RBI and
Junior Garcia was 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Game two went into the 10th inning with the score tied at 5. That's when
Greyson Shafer picked the perfect time to hit a home run and give the Golden Eagles the game-winner.
Cole Rollins was 2-for-4 with a double and
Tyler Vance was 1-for-2.Â
Dax Newman earned the win, pitching the final 2.2 innings and giving up two earned runs with two strikeouts.
Ashton Johnson started the game, going 4.1 innings and giving up only one earned run.
CSI, 28-16 overall and 12-16 in conference play, has a bye week next week.
