TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 19th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball Team collected two wins over Colorado Northwestern CC 25-0 and 22-0 Saturday and Golden Eagle Head Coach
Nick Baumert earned his 700th win at CSI.
Through his 17 years at the helm, the Golden Eagles have amassed a 701-298-2 record.
For the day, CSI finished with 46 hits and 8 home runs.
In game one,
Kenzee Hale was 4-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI.
Tessa Hokanson was 4-for-4 with a home run and three RIB and
Saige Nielsen was 2-for-2 with a home run.
Brylee Bigelow was 4-for-4 with five RBI and
Maame Johnson was 2-for-2.
Haylee Farnsworth was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI.
Brooke Merrill earned the win, going three innings and giving up no runs with three strikeouts.
Makenzie Evans pitched the final two innings, giving up no runs on not hits.
In game two, Tentinger was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI, Hokanson was 2-for-2 with a home run and four RBI,
Indee Jones was 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBI and Jensen was 1-for-1 with a home run and three RBI.
In the circle, Hayes got the win, going five innings and giving up no runs on two hits with seven strikeouts.
CSI, now 25-12 overall, travels to Snow College Friday and Saturday.
