TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 19th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball team run ruled Colorado Northwestern 29-0 and 21-1 Friday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
CSI had 48 hits on the day and 10 home runs.
In game one,
Gracie Walters came a single hit away from a perfect game. The sophomore finished the five innings, giving up no runs with 12 strikeouts.
Indee Jones,
Saige Nielsen and
Markessa Jensen each hit two home runs. Hailey Farnsworth added the seventh home run.Â
The game two pitching win goes to Jensen. Jensen pitched all five innings, giving up one earned run on five hits with two strikeouts.
Gracie Tentinger hit two home runs and
Tessa Hokanson hit one for the Golden Eagles.
CSI, 23-12 overall plays CNCC again Saturday at 10 a.m.
