Golden Eagle Women's Basketball is headed to NJCAA Final Four

LUBBOCK, Texas - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team put together a complete game offensively and defensively to run past Blinn College 79-64 Saturday at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament.
The Golden Eagles held a Blinn College team to 31 percent shooting from the field and 26 percent from the 3-point line. The Buccaneers average 41 percent from the field and 31 percent from long range.
On the flip side, CSI shot 47 percent from the field and 35 percent from the 3-point line in Saturday's win.
Alyssa Christensen led the way with 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals. For the second straight game, Tylie Jones finished in double figures, scoring 15 points and had nine rebounds, three blocks and three assists.
Both Kali Haizlip and Kaylee Headrick ended the game in double digits. Haizlip had 14 points and four rebounds and Haizlip had 10 points and eight rebounds.
Sophomores Courtney Stothard and Kennedy Eskelson were solid all game. Stothard finished with seven points, five rebounds and three assists and Eskelson had five points and seven rebounds. 
CSI will take on the eighth-seeded Northwest Florida State Sunday at 3 p.m. MT. A win there would send the Golden Eagles into the national championship game for the second time ever.
