CSI Baseball splits with Salt Lake on day two

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team won 3-2 on a walk-off before falling 6-5 in game two to Salt Lake CC Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles played to a 2-2 tie in game one until the bottom of the 10 inning when Colby Carter provided the fireworks. 
Greyson Shafer singled to start the rally. Junior Garcia sacrificed Shafer to second and Eliot Jones took first on a hit by pitch before CSI got its second out. That's when Carter hit the game-winning RBI single to end the game.
Shafer finished the game 2-4.
Dahle pitched the first seven innings, giving up two earned runs on two hits with 10 strikeouts. Seth McGrath earned the win, going 2.2 innings and giving up no runs on no hits with three strikeouts.
The Golden Eagles kept it rolling in game two, taking a 5-2 lead into the seventh. But Salt Lake battled back, scoring four runs in the top of the seventh to take the win.
No CSI player finished with more than one hit in game two. Cole Rollins was 1-2 with a double and RBI. Brody Duvall, Logan West and Tyler Vance were each 1-for-3. 
Ashton Johnson pitched 4.1 innings, giving up two earned runs on five hits with five strikeouts. 
Nate Rose got the loss, pitching the final one innings and giving up three earned runs on three hits with one strikeout.
