TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team led almost the entire game, beating Salt Lake CC 70-62 Saturday in the final regular season Scenic West Athletic Conference game of the year.
The Golden Eagles struggled from the 3-point line all game but knocked down free throws in the end to secure the win.Â
Alyssa Christensen finished the game with 11 points and 11 rebounds and made 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. She also had four assists and three blocks.
Kaylee Headrick had 13 points and nine rebounds,
Kennedy Eskelson had 12 points and eight rebounds and
Courtney Stothard had eight points and seven rebounds. At the point,
Livia Knapp posted nine points, three rebounds and three assists.
Off the bench Tyle Jones finished with nine points, three rebounds and two steals.
CSI, now 27-2 overall and 16-1 in conference play, opens the Region 18 Tournament as the top seed March 9-10 at home.
