EPHRAIM, Utah - In what might be one of their most well-rounded performances of the season, the Golden Eagles dominated Snow College 80-37 Wednesday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
CSI proved to be too much for the Badgers on defense, forcing 24 turnovers and holding them to 28 percent field goal percentage and an 17 percent 3-point field goal percentage on the night.
And while the defense has been the Golden Eagles consistent strength, Wednesday they proved they could score as well.
CSI finished the game shooting 48 percent from the field, 44 percent from long range and 83 percent from the free-throw line.
Leading the way was
Kennedy Eskelson, who was a perfect 5-for-5 from the 3-point line en route to 17 points. She added seven rebounds.
Livia Knapp was solid all night, finishing with 16 points, six assists, four steals and four rebounds. Also scoring in double figures was
Kaylee Headrick with 10 points and seven rebounds.
Tylee Jones and
Kali Haizlip each posted eight points in the win.
If CSI can win at home on Saturday against Southern Nevada, the Golden Eagles will clinch the Scenic West Athletic Conference regular season title.
