HUTCHINSON, Kan. - The ninth-seeded CSI Volleyball Team had fourth-seeded Salt Lake on the ropes but just couldn't finish, falling to the Bruins 17-25, 25-23, 25-22, 26-24 Friday at the NJCAA Division I Volleyball National Tournament.
Danea King had a big match for the Golden Eagles, finishing with 16 kills and three blocks.
Alizaysha Sopi added 11 kills, four service aces and eight digs.
Also finishing in double-digit kills was
Val Sarti-Cipriani with 10.
Janke Pretorius was solid with 5 kills, 35 assists, four blocks and 16 digs.
Chinaru Inoue led the defense with 19 digs.
The Golden Eagles will now play for seventh Saturday at 10:30 a.m. MT against Weatherford.
