HUTCHINSON, Kan. - The ninth-seeded College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team beat sixth-seeded Weatherford College 25-21, 21-25, 25-19, 25-17 Saturday at the NJCAA Division I Volleyball National Tournament to place seventh.
The Golden Eagles had some outstanding performances in the match.
Annie Nikolnikova finished with 17 kills and four blocks, while
Val Sarti-Cipriani added 14 kills and two blocks.Â
Alizaysha Sopi posted a double-double with 10 kills and 17 digs and
Janke Pretorius was all-around solid with seven kills, 49 assists and nine digs.
Chinaru Inoue had a match-high 33 digs.
CSI finishes its season with a 27-10 overall record.
