EPHRAIM, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball battled to the end with Snow College, falling 25-23, 25-22, 25-20 Thursday to open Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Outside hitters Kalamela Liua and Alizaysha Sopi combined for 12 kills and 13 digs. Right side, Valentina Sarti-Cipriani added seven kills. 
Kaulana Kalulu-Sugai had a team-high 10 digs and Janke Pretorius had a team-high 14 assists. Pretorius also had two service aces. At the net, Anastasiia Nikolniko finished with three blocks.
CSI, 9-8 overall and 0-1 in SWAC play, travels to Southern Nevada Saturday.
