BAYTOWN, Texas - The College of Southern Idaho fell to Lee College 25-17, 25-17, 25-22 before sweeping Wharton County 26-24, 25-23, 25-23 Saturday on the final day of the Lee College Invitational.
Alizaysha Sopi finished the first match with eighth kills and followed it with nine kills and 11 digs in the Wharton County match.
Anastasiia Nikolnikova was solid at the net in both matches as well, posting four kills and five blocks against Lee and then five kills and five blocks against Wharton.
Defensively,
Kaulana Kalulu-Sugai had 20 digs on the day. She also had three service aces against Lee.
CSI, 9-7 overall, travels to Snow College and Southern Nevada this week to open Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
