TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 19th-ranked College of Southern Idaho took both games via the run rule 8-0 and 13-2 Tuesday in a non-conference doubleheader with Treasure Valley CC.

Gracie Walters led the way for CSI in game one in the circle, throwing a no-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts.Â
Offensively,
Rachael Brown was 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI,
Cortney Rhees was 2-for-2 with a double and
Kylie Baumert hit a two-RBIÂ home run.
Olivia Taylor finished with a two-RBIÂ double and
Maizie Clark was 1-for-2.
Gracie Tentinger had an RBI double.
In game two, CSI used a nine-run fourth to break open the game.
Sophia Stoddard was 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBI, Tentinger was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI,
Saige Nielsen was 1-for-2 with two RBI and
Maggie Whipple his a three-run home run. Baumert was 2-for-3 with two RBI and
August Cowan was 1-for-1.
Jessica Touchard earned the win in the circle, going 3.1 innings and giving up two earned runs on eight hits with three strikeouts.
Brooke Merrill got the save, going 1.2 innings and giving up no runs and no hits with two strikeouts.
CSI, now 21-6, hosts USU Eastern Friday and Saturday.
