TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 10th-ranked Golden Eagles held Community Christian College to 22 percent field-goal percentage to run away with the 98-31 win Tuesday in Scenic West Athletic Conference action.
CSI shot 51 percent from the field and 36 percent from long range on the flip side.
The Golden Eagles used a pressure defense all night, forcing 30 turnovers and scoring 42 points off turnovers.
Emilia Nworie led CSI with 19 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots and two steals.
Kinga Stachowska added 16 points and
Sadie Gronning finished with 15 points, three assists and three steals.
Jordan Francisco also reached double digits, posting 10 points, eight rebounds and three steals.Â
Leading the way from the guard position,
Hadley Richins finished with five points, four rebounds and eight assists.Â
CSI, 26-2 overall and 15-1 in conference play, hosts Salt Lake CC Wednesday at 5 p.m. for sophomore night.
