TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 10th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team beat Salt Lake CC 66-60 Wednesday on sophomore night and the final home game.
One key in the Golden Eagles win was their ability to take care of the basketball, CSI finished with just nine turnovers but forced 17.
Emilia Nworie posted a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds along with six blocked shots.
Ashlee Strawbridge added 15 points, five rebounds and three assists. Guards
Sadie Gronning,
Brayli Jenks and
Hadley Richins were solid all night. Jenks had 10 points and three rebounds, Gronning has 12 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals and Richins had four assists.
CSI will enter next week's Region 18 Tournament as the top seed.
The Golden Eagles have one remaining regular season game at Southern Nevada Saturday.
