#17 CSI Men's Basketball knocks down #12 Lee

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team used solid free-throw shooting late to push past Lee College 81-77 Thursday in the Hilex Poly/Physician's Immediate Care Invitational.
The Golden Eagles held a 75-67 lead with just over a minute to play but Lee answered with a layup and a 3-pointer to pull within three. CSI went 6-for-6 from the free-throw line the last 34 seconds of the game to preserve the win.
Hasan Abdul-Hakim led the Golden Eages with 18 points. He added five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Robert whaley had 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists and Ga'Khari LaCount finished with 16 points, seven rebounds, four steals and two assists.
Joel Armotrading was solid inside all night. The sophomore had six points, four blocks and five rebounds.  Also scoring in double-digits was Nate Meithof with 14 points. 
CSI shot 50 percent from the field compared to 38 percent for Lee College.
The Golden Eagles, 2-0, take on sixth-ranked Odessa Friday at 7 p.m. Odessa beat Central Arizona 119-63 earlier Thursday.
