TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team closed out its preseason action with a 95-53 over Colorado Northwestern CC Saturday in the Physician's Immediate Care/ICCU Classic.
The 17th-ranked Golden Eagles, now 6-1, shot 46 percent from the field while holding the Spartans to 27 percent.
The Golden Eagles held a 42-15 halftime lead and never looked back.
Both
Amoro Lado and Deng Dug scored 18 points for CSI in the win.
KT Raimey added 15 and
Marcellious Lockett had 10. Dut had five assists, while Lado had six rebounds, three assists and two steals.
On the boards,
Eric Grier and
Sebastian Reynoso-Jimenez led the way with seven apiece.
Chayce Polynice came off the bench to score four points and pull down five rebounds.
CSI scored 42 points in the paint compared to 18 for CNCC.
The Golden Eagles open Scenic West Athletic Conference play Tuesday at Salt Lake CC.
