HENDERSON, Nev. - The eighth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team beat Glendale 72-40 Wednesday in the Southern Nevada Tournament.
The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 25-6 first-quarter lead and never trailed in the game. CSI shot 45 percent from the field and 50 percent from the 3-point line.
Jordan Francisco led the Golden Eagles with 14 points and eight rebounds.
Kyra Paniora was the only other CSI player in double figures, finishing with 10 points and three assists.
Emilia Nworie dominated on the boards, posting 10 rebounds along with six points.Â
Alyssa Christensen scored nine points, while
Courtney Stothard and Saide Gronning each added eight points. Stothard added four rebounds and Gronning had three rebounds and three steals.
CSI, now 15-1 overall, won't play again until Jan. 6 when it hosts Community Christian in a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup.
