PRICE, Utah - The eighth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball made the most of its make up game with USU Eastern Monday, defeating the Eagles of Price 67-55 on the road.
The Golden Eagles, now 16-1 overall and 5-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play, used a stingy defense to beat USUE.
CSI forced USUE into 29 percent shooting from the field and 28 percent from long range. On the flip side, the Golden Eagles shot 46 percent from the field overall.
Ashlee Strawbridge led CSI with 21 points, seven rebounds and two assists.
Emilia Nworie added 11 points, five rebounds and two blocks.

Sadie Gronning and
Courtney Stothard continued to have solid all around games. Gronning finished with nine points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals, while Stothard had 10 rebounds, two points and two assists.
CSI hosts Community Christian Thursday at 5 p.m. and College of Southern Nevada Saturday at 1 p.m.
