Henderson, Nev. - The 14th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball Team fell to Snow College 7-5 Saturday in a non conference matchup at the CSN Tournament.
The Golden Eagles gave up five runs in the first inning, one in the second and one in the third before battling back to pull within two but couldn't complete the comeback.
Caitlin Turner finished the game going 2-for-2, while
Sidney Eyre was 1-for-3.
Sophia Bartholomew came up big in the fifth inning with a three-run home run.
Payton Hammond came in to the game in relief and shut down Snow. She pitched 4.2 innings and gave up just one earned run on two hits with three strikeouts.
