Box Score 2 TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball team opened the 2021 season with a bang, run ruling USU Eastern 10-0 before falling to the Eagles 13-2 in game two.

Carson Bonus pitched a gem, giving up no runs on five hits with seven strikeouts.
At the plate,
Braxton Mills was 2-for-3 with a double.
Charlie Tentinger,
Blake Maxwell and
Rene Almaraz each went 2-for-4. Tentinger finished with two doubles and four RBI, while Alamaraz and Maxwell each had one double.
CSI couldn't get the bats going in game two, finishing with just four hits.
Tentinger,
Chase Higginson,
Griffey Larsen and Mills each posted a hit. Tentinger had another double.
In the circle Baughn threw well,keeping CSI in the game. He went five innings and giving up just two hits and one earned run. The score was tied when he exited.
CSI, 1-1, takes on USU Eastern for a doubleheader at noon Saturday.
