LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team beat Scottsdale 7-2 before falling to the Fighting Artichokes 3-2 Thursday.
The Golden Eagles only needed a few runs behind an outstanding pitching performance by
Nate Dahle. He threw a complete game in the win, giving up no earned runs on five hits with five strikeouts. At the plate
Jackson Kohler went 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBI.
In game two,
Staley Hansgen also threw a complete game but lost on a walk off in the bottom of the seventh. He gave up two earned runs with four strikeouts.
Colton Kent went 2-for-3 at the plate with one RBI and
Colton Easton was 1-for-2 with one RBI.
CSI, 3-4 overall, plays Scottsdale for a single game Friday at 11 a.m. PST before heading home.
