TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball team put together a couple run-rule wins Saturday, beating University of Calgary 12-0 and 13-3.
In game one,
Jackson Kohler,
Tyler Curtis and
Colton Kent had big games at the plate. Kohler was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Curtis was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI and Kent was 3-for-4 with a double and a triple and one RBI.
On the mound,
Kyler Murray went the distance, giving up no runs on two hits with no walks and six strikeouts.
Even though the Golden Eagles gave up three runs, it was still all CSI in game two. The Golden Eagles finished the University of Calgary off in the fifth inning.
Kohler, Curtis and Kent again were solid. Kohler was 3-for-4 with an RBI, Curtis was 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI and Kent was 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Crew Robinson was the other CSI player with more than one hit. He went 2-for-3 with a double.
Ethan Horner earned the win on the mound, going 3.1 innings and giving up one earned run on two hits with three strikeouts.
CSI, 7-5 overall, hosts University of Calgary one more time on Sunday at 11 a.m.
