TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball jumped out to an 11-point lead on USU Eastern Saturday but couldn't sustain, falling to the Eagles 55-45 in a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup.
Neither team shot the ball very well for the game but USU Eastern finished at 32 percent and CSI just 28 percent and that was the difference.
Petra Farkas led all scorers with 14 points. She added 12 rebounds, four assists and two steals for CSI. Garnett finished with nine points and four rebounds and Jalen Callender had eight points and five rebounds. Allie Thayne also had eight points and four rebounds.
CSI, now 13-5 overall and 0-1 in SWAC play, travels to Salt Lake Thursday and Colorado Northwestern Saturday.
