TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team had one of their most well-rounded games of the year, beating Colorado Northwestern 105-72 in Scenic West Athletic Conference Play.
The Golden Eagles fell to the Spartans by four points earlier this year but on Thursday it was all CSI.
CSI shot 48 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Spartans 59-31.Â
Mike Hood led the Golden Eagles with 23 points. He added three steals. Other CSI players scoring in double digits included
Maurice Barnett with 15,
Stevie Smith with 11 and
Kendall McHugh with 10. Barnett also had eight rebounds, three assists and two block and McHugh had four assists.
Sawyer Storms dominated the glass, finishing with 10 rebounds. He added eight points and four assists.
Deng Dut was solid across the board, posting eight points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals. Sebastien Reynoso-Jimenez also was good off the bench with nine points and seven rebounds.
CSI, which is in third in the conference standings, hosts league leading Salt Lake at 5 p.m. Saturday.
