TWIN FALLS, Idaho - After trailing 50-37 at the half, the College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball fought all the way back to a tie it late in the second half but couldn't get past #13th-ranked Salt Lake CC, losing 91-84 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Bruins beat CSI in the transition game, scoring 19 fast-break points compared to two for the Golden Eagles.Â
Nobody stood out on the court like
Mike Hood though. The sophomore finished with 34 points, four rebounds and two steals.
Maurice Barnett added 16 points, five rebounds and four assists. The only other Golden Eagle in double figures was
Kendall McHugh with 11 points.
Nehemie Kabeya led the Golden Eagles on the boards with 10. He added five points.
CSI, 14-12 overall, hosts Snow College Saturday at 5 p.m.
