EPHRAIM, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team battled all game with Snow Saturday but ran out of answers in overtime, falling to the Badgers 80-75 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Snow jumped out to a 24-12 lead after the first quarter. But CSI battled back outscoring the Badgers 21-10 in the second quarter, trailing only by one point at the half.
The Golden Eagles out-rebounded Snow led by
Jordan Todd's 10 rebounds. Todd finished with a double-double, adding 12 points.Â
CSI managed just 56 percent from the free-throw line compared to 71 percent for Snow. The Badgers also shot better from the field. When the two teams met a week ago, CSI held Snow to a much lower field goal percentage.
The Golden Eagles were led by
Kaitlin Burgess's 17 points. She knocked down 5-of-10 3-point field goals. She also had six rebounds. Both
Karmelah Dean and Findley Garnett scored 16 points. Dean added seven assists and Garnett had five rebounds.
CSI, hosts Colorado Northwestern Thursday at 5 p.m. and Salt Lake Saturday at 3 p.m.
