EPHRAIM, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men jumped out to a 20-point lead in the first half Saturday against Snow College but connected for only four points in the first 10 minutes of the second half as the Badgers pulled away in the end, beating CSI 68-59 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
It was a tale of two halves. The Golden Eagles shot 43 percent from the field in the first half and just 27 percent in the second half. Snow shot 27 percent in the first half and 59 percent in the second half.
CSI had just one player score in double digits.
Mike Hood scored a game-high 27 points.
Maurice Barnett finished with eight points and four rebounds and
Kendall McHugh had seven points.
Nehemie Kabeya led the Golden Eagles on the boards with seven. He added four points and three blocked shots.
CSI hosts Colorado Northwestern Thursday at 7 p.m. and Salt Lake CC Saturday at 5 p.m.
