PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team led by as much as 11 points and led late into the second half but let it slip away, falling to USU Eastern 67-61 Thursday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
USU Eastern out-rebounded CSI 38-35 and out-shot CSI 38 percent to 45 percent. The Eagles of Price also made 16 free throws, while CSI knocked down 10.
Mike Hood led all players with 21 points. He added five rebounds and two assists.
Maurice Barnett finished with 19 points and six rebounds, while
Kendall McHugh had six points and six assists.
CSI, 13-10 overall and 2-3 in SWAC play, travels to Snow Saturday for a 5 p.m. game.Â
