TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team moved into sole possession of third place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings with a 69-58 win over Snow College Saturday.
The Golden Eagles went 1-for-10 from the field to open the game but found their rhythm in the second quarter, taking a two-point lead at the half that they would never relinquish.
Petra Farkas led the offense with 24 points. She added 14 rebounds and three blocked shots.
Taylia Stimpson added 13 points, four rebounds, three assists and four steals, while
Karmelah Dean had 11 points and six assists. Inside
Allie Thayne finished with nine points, six rebounds and three steals.
Jordan Todd came off the bench to add five rebounds, while
Finley Garnett posted seven rebounds for the Golden Eagles.
CSI, now 15-6 overall and 2-2 in conference play USU Eastern Thursday and Snow College Saturday.
