CSI Volleyball sweeps Colorado Northwestern to open SWAC play

Box Score TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team beat Colorado Northwestern CC 25-20, 25-11, 25-22 Thursday to start Scenic West Athletic Conference play 1-0.
The Golden Eagles spread out their offense with Payton Spoja, Laura Valentina and Letarona Mose all posting eight kills. Alexis Mareko added seven. Mose finished the match with six blocks and Mareko added four.
Defensively, Kylie Baumert led CSI with 16 digs. Spoja added 10. Sean Garvin finished the match with 14 assists.
CSI, now 10-8, hosts 15th-ranked USU Eastern Saturday at 1 p.m.
