ONTARIO, Ore. - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team jumped out to a quick start and built from there, beating Treasure Valley CC 25-13, 25-23, 25-20 in non-conference action.
Payton Spoja was dominant on the outside, finishing with 12 kills, 16 digs and three blocks.
Taylor Burnham added eight kills and 12 digs. Setters
Quinn Kellogg and
Sean Garvin combined for 37 assists and 19 digs.
The Golden Eagles were able to get both right sides involved and it paid off.
Alyssa Curtis and
Laura Valentina each had eight kills.
Kylie Baumert finished with 14 digs and added two service aces and six assists in the win. Middle blockers
Letarona Mose and
Alexis Mareko each had three blocks. Mose added six kills.
CSI, now 7-6, travel to Las Vegas for a two-day tournament Friday and Saturday.
