TWIN FALLS, Idaho - One day after sweeping fourth-ranked Salt Lake CC, the College of Southern Idaho Softball team had no mojo in losing 14-3 and 19-1.
The Golden Eagles managed just five hits in game one and two in game two.
Defensively, CSI posted five errors. In the circle, the Golden Eagles gave up 32 hits and 12 walks.
Kalena Shepherd was a bright spot for CSI, finishing the day 3-for-4 with two doubles.
Hannah Peterson and
Tristin Evans hit home runs in the first game and
Nikki Zielinski hit a solo shot in the second game.
The Golden Eagles, now 12-9 overall and 5-2 in SWAC play, host Snow College Friday and Saturday.
