SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball team fell to Salt Lake CC 11-7 in game one Friday of a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup. Game two was postponed to Saturday at 11 a.m. because of inclement weather.
The Golden Eagles fell behind 10-0 through two innings and gradually fought back but ran out of innings. CSI scored four in the third inning on a grand slam by
Nolan Walker. Walker finished the game 2-for-3 with five RBI. David Hudelson was 2-for-4.Â
Tyler Curtis earned the loss on the mound for CSI.
The Golden Eagles, now 7-10 overall and 0-5 in league play, will look to bounce back Saturday.
