ONTARIO, Ore. - The College of Southern Idaho Softball team dominated Treasure Valley CC 7-3 and 22-2 Tuesday in a non-conference doubleheader.
The Golden Eagles put together two complete game defensively and offensively. Not only did the defense give up no errors, the pitchers were sharp.
Mailee Jensen earned the game one win, going six innings and giving up no runs on two hits with four strikeouts.
Hadlie Henderson earned the game two win, going three innings and giving up no runs on no hits.
The bats were hot all day. The Golden Eagles hit .403 at the plate with six home runs and five doubles in the doubleheader.Â
Nikki Zielinski finished the day 4-for-5 with a grand slam, a three-run home run and a double.
Hannah Peterson was 5-for-9 with a double and a home run and six RBI, while
Kaylee Lamont was 2-for-2 with a home run.
Anjalee Batchelor and
Tristin Evans each hit home runs as well for the Golden Eagles.Â
