PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team led by just seven total minutes Saturday, but overcame a five-point deficit in the last minute to beat USU Eastern 61-60 in the Golden Eagles final regular season conference game of the year.
CSI managed just 55 percent from the free-throw line for the game, but in the last minute CSI was golden.
Khalid Thomas and
David Walker were each 2-for-2 from the free-throw line and each scored a field goal to lead the Golden Eagles to victory.
Walker finished the game with 25 points and six rebounds. Thomas added six points and 10 rebounds.
Brayden Parker posted six points, five rebounds and four steals, while
Jaxon Edelmayer had five points and four assists.
CSI will take the two seed into next week's Region 18 Tournament. The Golden Eagles wil play third-seeded Salt Lake CC Friday.
