EPHRAIM, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team and Snow College squared off with the Scenic West Athletic Conference regular season championship on the line Thursday. The Badgers ended with edge, beating CSI 83-72 and earning the top seed in next week's Region 18 Tournament.
The Golden Eagles led early in the game and trailed by just two points at the half. But CSI managed just 12-of-34 from the field and 3-of-16 from beyond the 3-point line in the second half and watched its championship hopes disappear.
Malik Porter led CSI with 15 points and seven rebounds.
Roberto Gittens added 13 points and
Khalid Thomas had 11.
Coreyoun Rushin finished the game with nine rebounds and seven points and
Jaxon Edelmayer had six assists.
CSI finishes up the regular season Saturday at USU Eastern.
