MESA, Ariz. - The College of Southern Idaho bounced back with a 87-82 win over Triton College Saturday in the Fiesta Bowl Junior College Shootout.
The Golden Eagles knocked down 88 percent of their free throws a day after a poor percentage cost them. Leading the way was Mike Hood who was 7-for-7 and Deng Dut who was 5-for-5.
Both players provided much of CSI's scoring overall. Hood finished the game with 24 points, while Dut had 23. In his second game back, Maurice Barnett scored 22 points and pulled down four rebounds. Dut had a solid all around game, adding six assists and four rebounds. Jackson Ruai finished with eight points and eight rebounds for CSI.
