LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team trailed 29-27 at the half but had a big second half to beat Dawson CC 70-60 Thursday in the Southern Nevada Tournament.
The Golden Eagles shot just 36 percent in the first half from the field. But came out hot from the locker room at the half, shooting a blistering 61 percent in the third quarter to take a lead they would not relinquish.
Taylia Stimpson led CSI with 22 points. She added five rebounds, four assists and four steals.
Petra Farkas also had a solid game, posting 19 points, five rebounds and two assists.

CSI, now 11-3 overall, takes on fifth-ranked Central Arizona Friday at 5 p.m. MST.
