TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 13th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team shot 51 percent from the field en route to a 103-50 win over Western Wyoming CC Saturday.
Most impressive might have been the Golden Eagles free-throw percentage. CSI shot 90 percent from the line on 18-of-20 shooting.
Leading the way for CSI offensively was
Petra Farkas with 18 points. She added five rebounds, three assists and three steals. She wasn't the only one with solid overall games.
Macie Knapp posted 17 points, five rebounds and four steals, Talia Stimpson had 14 points, three assists, three steals and two rebounds and
Allie Thayne had eight points, six rebounds and four assists.
Jordan Todd was a presence inside, finishing with six points, four rebounds, three assists and four blocked shots.
Finley Garnett also scored in double figures with 14 points. She added five rebounds. Point guard
Karmelah Dean led the Golden Eagles in assists with five. She also had nine points and three steals.
The Golden Eagles only turned the ball over five times but forced 26 turnovers.
CSI, 2-2 overall, next hosts the Wright PT/Hilex Poly Invitational Nov. 22 and 23.
