SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball fought to the end but missed free throws late proved costly as the Golden Eagles lost to Casper 84-75.
CSI finished the game shooting just 55 percent from the free-throw line (23-for-42). That ultimately was the difference in the game as Casper knocked down 70 percent of its free-throw shots.
Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was sophomore
Mike Hood with 23 points. He added four rebounds.
Nehemie Kabeya finished the game with a double-double (12 points and 10 rebounds). Others scoring in double figures included
Kendall McHugh with 14 points (six rebounds, 3 assists) and
Stevie Smith with 13 points (6 rebounds, 3 assists).
The Golden Eagles, now 2-2 overall, travel to Williston, N.D. Friday and Saturday to take on Minnesota Preparatory Academy and Williston State College.
