WILLISTON, N.D. - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team evened its record, falling to Williston State 83-69 Saturday at the Williston State Tournament.
One day after all the shots were dropping, the Golden Eagles struggled from long range, shooting just 19 percent from the 3-point line and 39 percent for all field goals. CSI did knock down its free throws, shooting 80 percent from the line.
Mike Hood led the Golden Eagles with 27 points.
Deng Dut and
Kendall McHugh each added 10 points and three assists. Dut also pulled down four rebounds.
Nehemie Kabeya was CSI's leading rebounder with seven. He added five points.
The Golden Eagles, 3-3 overall, return home to host the Hilex Poly/Wright Physical Therapy Invitational Friday and Saturday.
