SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Freshman point guard
Kendall McHugh drained a half-court shot at the buzzer to lead the College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team past Western Nebraska 60-57 Friday in the Salt Lake Invitational.
McHugh finished the game with 11 points, four rebounds and two assists. Teammate
Mike Hood added 19 points to lead all scorers. The only other Golden Eagle in double figures was
Stevie Smith with 10 points. He added six rebounds and two assists.
Deng Dut had a solid game for CSI, posting eight points, five rebounds, four steals and two assists.
Nehemie Kabeya was the Golden Eagles leading rebounder with nine.
CSI, now 2-1 overall, take on Casper College Saturday at 3 p.m.
