TWIN FALLS, Idaho - After a sluggish start, the College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team got rolling to beat Blue Mountain 87-67 Saturday in the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational.
After shooting just 39 percent from the field in the first half and 22 percent from long range, the Golden Eagles knocked down 72 percent of their shots in the second half and 44 percent from the 3-point line.
Leading the way for CSI was
Mike Hood with 34 points. He added three rebounds, three assists and four steals. The only other players scoring in double figures was
Kendall McHugh with 13 points and
Spencer Roberts with 10 points. McHugh also had five assists and Roberts had seven rebounds.Â
Deng Dut had another solid game across the board with six points, nine rebounds and six assists.Â
CSI, 8-3 overall, hosts North Idaho College, Northeastern JC and Central Florida Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the Physician's Immediate Care Tournament.
