TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team forced 30 turnovers and out-rebounded Pierce College 60 to 36 en route to a 96-40 win Friday in the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational.
The Golden Eagles also shot the ball well, making 47 percent of their shots from the field.
Taylia Stimpson led the way with 17 points. She added five rebounds and three steals. Point guard
Karmelah Dean finished the game with 12 points, eight steals and six assists in just 19 minutes.Â
Other CSI players in double figures included
Petra Farkas with 10 points and
Sierra Davis with 10 points. Davis added six rebound and Farkas had five assists.Â
Macie Knapp finished with nine points and nine rebounds and
Allie Thayne had eight rebounds.Â
The Golden Eagles, now 5-2, host second-ranked South Plains Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Earlier Friday, South Plains beat Snow 66-46.
