TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team shot 55 percent from the field in dominating Treasure Valley CC 97-61 Monday in a non-conference matchup.
Not only did the Golden Eagles shine on the offensive side of the ball, but held TVCC to just 35 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Chukars 53-31.
Two CSI players finished the game with double-doubles.
Allie Thayne posted a 13-point, 13-rebound performance and
Jordan Todd had 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Other players scoring in double figures included
Petra Farkas with 15 points,
Taylia Stimpsont with 15 points,
Macie Knapp with 14 points and
Jalen Callender with 12 points. Farkas added five assists and four rebounds and Knapp had four assists and four rebounds. Callender also was strong across the board with five rebounds and three assists.Â
CSI, now 5-2 overall, hosts Pierce College Friday and South Plains Saturday in the ICCUÂ Tournament.
